ROC ict

was suay to take over as the section commander for section 2 of platoon 2 ( i was suppose to be under HQ platoon), then wasn't that bad, mix well with the section 2 men...bad weather in ROC during training...been raining...n training was in the highlands...rain...plus chilling wind...so was cold til early morning when wake up will shiver lor (esp the 1st few days at the range)...had live firing...n the normal battle course plus combined mission with the tankees...had the usual sucky handing over of armskote and stuff... on the whole the training the was quite pack...like almost every day...with a few 1 day break for S&M in between...(haha service and maintainence) ...had a end of frame dinner...a 10 course dinner at this quite run down restaurant at the "cow boy" town of hukou...and was 'sabo' by my pl to go to stage and sing ktv...the song selection was old man...but embrassed my self on stage...haha...cos i chose 周华建 孤枕难眠 and i started off too high a key...or the song key was high haha the starting part was quite horrible then tune down and was alrite...quite paiseh sia...hehe

well for R&R it was quite short...only 2 dyas, 1 nite...but luckily its free & easy at taipei...so wasn't that bad...brought my frens ard...since i was there 2 years back with my studio mates...went to taipei 101 and went to the observatory...but the weather was quite foggy so the view wasn't that clear...abit disappointed...then went to the usual 西门町 and 士林夜市. then went and sang overnite at a 24 hr ktv near hotel...from 0030 to 0530...was quite fun...1st time sang overnite...the ktv was great compared to the ones in s'pore...great sound system, good service, attached washroom, free flow of food and drinks...then took a short nap abt 3-4 hours b4 we advance to 淡水 to shop for 土产, local food...bought mochi and some other food back home for family n frens...and also played the "catch the doll" machine...the 4 of us like kids...have a great time catching toys...haha...great satisfaction when u manged to catch it...somemore there was once i managed to catch 2 at one time...haha...opps...sounds so childish...haha

anyway was nice to meet up with fellow coy mates and army frens...
