saturday...singing...sushi...bridge...

Yesterday was another fun-filled saturday. Met ben, nel and yi ming for KTV at orchard with our special guest appearance of MR FANN...haha...ZHI JIAN.Was quite a tired KTV session...haha...cos nel kept inserting songs in n asking me to sing...argh...seems like in the end only me n ben were singing mostly...haha...

Then we had dinner at SUKI sushi and then my friend AARON joined us for dinner too...his last day in singapore before he flies back to canada to continue his medical studies at mcgill...

Later in the nite, me and nelson went to aaron's house to spend the nite there with him before his flight at 6am...1st time to his house at kew crescent...semi-detached...i think he shifted there when we were sec 4...then we played a few hours of bridge b4 we proceed to the airport, seems like it was not long ago i was at the airport sending someone off too...(anyway nelson, if u have transfered ur fotos, can send me the phots we tok with aaron? thanx..)

Haiz...still bz with dissertation...haiz haiz...

绝对superstar male & female finals

Congratulations to Kelly and Kelvin to win the female and male finals of 绝对Superstar.

Although both of them din have the highest points from the judges, but both of them also deserve to win. a pity for Junyang and Xinhui, cos their performances were good too. Well wat to do thats life...

Anyway I'm sure the 4 of them will have a bright future in the chinese music scene. Gambatte na! Jia You!

新城容我信爱一唱倾情音乐会

I got the the concert cd of 张信哲&容祖儿 that was held in Hong Kong just few months ago. Its only avaliable in Hong Kong. THANX to Shane who got it for me.

A very BIG THANKS, Shane. Really enjoyed the cd, esp. when 张信哲 is one of my favourite singers. Really brought the memories when i watched his live performance twice last year. One is his concert with 伍思凯 and other is his live performance at taipei which I happen to be there at that time.

Beside the cd, the things that u got for me was a surprise to me. Haha...esp the panda hp holder...very cute

Recently I also bought 林志炫 2 albums taht i din get last time. He's also someone that I really like besides 张信哲 for his vocals power. One album is 《至情志炫》 and the other is 《单身情歌 (超炫精选)》. Really very good, like his singing. Good...esp his live performance.

a fun-filled sat at the SENTOSA......with the sneakies (not the whole gang though) and AARON (my sec sch friend...back for holidays from CANADA)

we had our beach volleyball game....after a long time since we played...as a gang...and now with the inclusion of AARON...maybe we could include him into our gang?

after that...we went to have HOKKAIDO HOTPOT at paradiz centre... hmmm...actually quite ex...its something like steamboat...(not buffet)...got interesting starter and dessert...

the food...main dish

there are choices for the main dish...mainly diffferent type of meat...beef, lamb, pork, fish, chicken, seafood platter..etc...and a choice of soup base...麻辣 or clear soup...everyone of us enjoying the food...

绝对superstar semi-finals 3

Enjoyed the semi final round this week. The theme for this week performance is "本地创作" to coincide with the national day. Enjoyed the 1st set of songs that they sang which is theme songs from our local drama series...esp when they sang really those 80's drama series songs, brought back some memories...(hmmm..maybe very little) but those songs are nice...hardly listened to them nowadays...was good to hear them again esp...我的生活在这里, 遗忘过去 & 温柔的夜.

Well the 2nd set of songs is supposed choose from the local singers...realised for the males...there isn't much selection...haha still prefer the songs selection from the females...

Anyway for the show...weilian and xinhui really improved alot and catching up with junyang and kelly...beware of them...

Actually last nite results show was quite expected...derrick and silver is out...

finally those that are ousted can sing their last song...derrick sang Z-Chen song again..."很想你"...really fell in love with this song....actually i think derrick did a very good job on this song compared to the rest fo the songs he did...haha
