1. My loved ones are safe and sound.

Narnia

caught the movie narnia today with my friends, benny and htin...(thanx htin for ur presents from mymmar...)
the movie was not bad...simple and straight forward (refer to Junhan's blog for more in-depth review)

here's the synopsis:
C.S. Lewis' timeless adventure THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE follows the exploits of the four Pevensie siblings - Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter - in World War II England who enter the world of Narnia through a magical wardrobe while playing a game of 'hide-and-seek' in the rural country home of an elderly professor.

Once there, the children discover a charming, peaceful land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs and giants that has become a world cursed to eternal winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis. Under the guidance of a noble and mystical ruler, the lion Aslan, the children fight to overcome the White Witch's powerful hold over Narnia in a spectacular, climactic battle that will free Narnia from Jadis' icy spell forever.

yesterday went to watch KING KONG with 4 other sneakies members. Minus nelson (in camp), ben (in china), tk (MIA)...our festive season gathering...












not a bad show...a very humane gorilla...slightly slow in parts...but good cgi effects...

sore eyes?! conjuntivitis?! not again?!

a day of badminton & movie "A History of Violence"

managed to play a game of badminton with my friend from my NS armour unit...Thomas...which we postponed since last week...and i pulled my aki friend Aaron along haha...was quite a good exercise and fun...
haven't catch up with Thomas for quite awhile since we deferred our reservist last sept...haha...well well he's doing master's degree in logistics...n going over to US for exchange next sem liaoz...coolz...
then we went to walk walk ard orchard n browse at Borders...and then me n thomas decided to catch a movie...in the end we caught "A History of Violence"...really a violent show...full go killing and shooting (and a few sexual scenes)...but the director did it in a very "normal life" way...nothing being glamorous or sensationalise...however the edning was very abrupt n "duh"...(not really recommending you all to watch)...the actor was quite good in portraying the character though...=)



the synopses:
"Loosely based on the graphic novel by John Wagner and Vince Locke, the movie stars Viggo Mortensen as Tom Stall, a quiet, easygoing family man who runs a diner in a small Indiana town. But when two dangerous criminals come into the restaurant prepared to wreak havoc, Stall turns hero and shoots them both. After Stall's story is blasted all over the media, Philly mobster Carl Fogaty (an excellent Ed Harris) shows up, claiming that Tom is actually former hit man Eddie Cusack--and they've got some important business to finish. While Stall insists that Fogaty is mistaken, his family--his wife, Edie (Maria Bello); teenage son, Jack (Ashton Holmes); and young daughter, Sarah (Heidi Hayes)--gets dragged into the danger that constantly threatens to explode.

Cronenberg, whose films often deal with the fantastical, the futuristic, and the supernatural, has done a masterly job creating a wholly believable modern world where evil lurks just around the corner. Howard Shore's tense, moody music complements the outstanding acting in a violent, powerful film that is not to be missed."

假期

这假期看似很短暂， 却有些漫长。
当朋友们都开始各忙各的，个个开始工作，在学的你开始有点慢慢的远离了他们。
假期也开始有点无聊了。
又因为是大学的最后一年，这起的假期也是最后一个了。
但是又得继续做 thesis project, 是有点 。。。“叹气”。
有时有点想回到小时候的时光，无忧无虑。
能够开始飞向另一个未知名的地方。

下一班是否是我的班机？

driving lessons

ah...finally decided to start my driving lessons...have to take my basic theory first...haha...
think i'm quite slow to begin my driving lesson...decided to take since its my school hols liaoz...if not i will have to start work after next sem already...haiz...

tiring day

a very packed day today...met my friends for a game of badminton at NTU this moring...tiring man...cos quite long never play badminton liaoz...right hand kind of aching now...haha...wat to do one of them is an IVP...haha
well took some pics at boon lay intercahnge while waiting for my friends...testing out my hp cam also...hehe

a rainy morning

after that rushed to meet ong for studio "debrief" at his office at SLF...sianz got to do continue work for my thesis this hols...haiz...meeting him again on the 19th...

then went to catch Chicken Little in the evening...not a bad movie...quite funny...but short...only slightly more than an hour...=)

a new addition at esplande...the "seawall" is now lined with changing lights...not bad...quite cool...should check it out...think can see better form the merlion park
